Overall this is a great app. I gave it four stars as it lacks a few features that I hope in the future will be implemented. The main one for me right now would be the ability to add multiple pictures and export those into PDF. Currently you add multiple pictures but when you export to PDF it only shows the main picture. I would also like to see it sync automatically between multiple devices. Other than that... I would highly recommend!

I havent noticed anything new or exciting since last review. It allows you to keep a diary. Choice of font styles, covers & paper. I havent used it in sometime so I dont know if anything new has been added, since upon opening, the first thing asked is a review!

This is a fine app. The only downside is the lack of voice recognition. This fault makes journalling difficult. I will use this app daily when voice recognition becomes standard. The keyboard is the obstacle between man and computer.

Ive used this app for three years and each update gets better. I have a suggestion that will make this FLAWLESS! When adding photos, I have to add each photo one at a time. It requires multiple steps/taps and its annoying that I have to scroll through my entire photo library each time. Can you make it so that you can select multiple photos at the same time? This way one only needs to access the photo library ONCE instead of for each photo. Ask Facebook developers how they do it. You can click on several photos to upload. Your current app seems archaic with this one photo at a time feature. A bonus (but not a deal breaker) would be to have the TOUCH ID feature for passwords. That would be awesome! Otherwise, I like the other additions and features youve added throughout the years. Continue to improve!

Wonderful app! I am able to write down anything that I need to keep record of and also I can lock everything by password for security purposes. I love this app!

They must have changed a lot of things since I stopped using this app because now I can send ALL of my journal entries with the touch of one button by email or wherever else I want to back them up to. I dont like keeping too much on my phone so this is a major plus! One thing that annoys me to no end is that the colors other than regular black font will never stay as the default color! You have to change the colors with every single journal entry and its quite annoying!!

I love the different fonts and page colors. There is no limit to how much I write. Each new entry is shown. It just does not have a save button.

I use this app everyday for my personal pray journal. Its password protected and easy to access. I only wish it was cloud based so I could access it on multiple devices.

This is a good journal app: the best that I have found in the App Store. However, the last update for it was over a year ago! Touch ID would be a nice addition instead of putting in your password. If that is too much of a problem, how about the ability to enter a time delay so that if you close a journal and then decide that you want to re-open it to add something else, you dont have to re-enter your password so soon after closing a particular journal.

I like the simplicity, that its like a real book, and that I can choose a book cover, inner pages and font to suit me. Works for me!

Its a fabulous app! I love the fact that you can insert a background photo. I had changed phones and I lost the app. But I just returned to the iPhone and when I backed up my data, my journal was back! I was so happy. The best Ive tried!

I have used the journal pretty much every day for the last few years. I do like the simplicity of it, however as other reviewers have said being able to update backgrounds and covers of the journal would modernize and personalize it. Making it much more visually pleasing to use. I had contacted the developer about seeing if your chosen default font could be used across the app (i.e. journal entries list). In the search function the default font you choose shows up however not in the journal entries list. Instead you see the app default font, Architects Daughter. The app icon could also use a face lift. I hope the developers see they have a lot of great reviews and people using the app. If the app were more modernized it would earn 5 starts from me. Overall a very good journal, I just hope the developers are listening and reading these reviews.

I love it..just what I was looking for in a journal...!

I use this app every morning as I read the Bible and journal my thoughts. It is a wonderful addition to my IPad and daily routine! I have used it now for years.

I really love this app, and since Ive purchased it, I use it every day. It had what I was looking for, ability to send to pdf and print, backup, privacy, tags, etc. There could be improvements, seems like when I print, only one picture is allowed for each day. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Ive had this app for almost two years on two different iPhones. The old version worked fine to allow me to journal, by dictation or typing. As the number of journal entries increased, it took longer and longer for the app to authenticate and open. Basically what happens is the password screen appears, then type it in, then used to wait a few seconds and my journal would open. As time went on those few seconds turned into 10-20 seconds. Then 30-40 seconds. Then a few months ago it would take 3-4 minutes to open the app. Now it just cant complete the process at all. I type in my password and it tries for 30 seconds, then the screen goes black and the iPhone home screen appears. It wont launch. Luckily I have the contents backed up in Dropbox, but I cant access it via the app. My current frustration is I have no where to record this precious time in my life. I try to login so I wont forget that sweet thing that just happened, wait and wait, and it just crashes. So sad. Ive reached out to the developer multiple times and followed their instructions. It still fails to launch. In the last three months Ive only successfully journaled once! They have nothing more to offer me in terms of support: "No one else is having issues with the app."
